I am an Associate Professor in the Faculté de médecine vétérinaire at the Université de Montréal and hold an adjunct post at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Calgary. After obtaining a BVSc from the University of Bristol, I spent a little under a year in private practice in Portsmouth followed by a small animal rotating internship at the University of Glasgow. This was followed by a MSc (inhaled nitric oxide and cardiopulmonary bypass) and Residency in Veterinary Anaesthesia at the Université de Montréal (supervised by Eric Troncy and Sophie Cuvelliez) and a PhD (molecular mechanisms of volatile anaesthetics) in Nick Franks‘ lab at Imperial College, London.
